CGT+CNT and other anti capitalist unions and pro immigrant groups, I really like the part with the Internationale and other leftist songs almost at the end mixed with SKA versions and hiphop of this same songs. The best is the CNT block almost at the end.

Venezuela and the Hackers’ Revolution

http://www.greens.org

The Third International Forum on Free Knowledge was recently held in Maracaibo, Venezuela, bringing together many people interested in the development of free software worldwide. One reason Venezuela chose to host this event is that, in January 2006, their new free software law came into effect, which mandates that all government agencies migrate to free software over a two-year period. I was invited to speak about the use of free software in telecommunications. Many of the events and presentations at the event were, much like mine, of a rather technical nature.

http://www.counterpunch.org

As part of my upbringing, I was taught
that the men and women who fought against the fascists in the
Spanish Civil War were giants. As a child eating in Ratner's
restaurant on New York's Lower East Side, I remember being told
in reverential tones that a person I just met had fought in Spain
with the Abraham Lincoln Brigade. My parents, who were members
of the Communist Party during the civil war, could not enlist
in the Brigade because they had dependents. The Communist Party,

Socialist Party Statement on Tibet

http://spboston.org

The unfolding events in Tibet are a tragedy. The Chinese government has occupied Tibet for more than fifty years, using every conceivable method to incorporate the occupied territory into an integral part of China. Tibetan cultural and religious sites have been desecrated and Buddhist monks have been forced to sign a pledge of allegiance to China. In its desire to extract the valuable natural resources of Tibet, the Chinese government has ignored essential environmental safeguards.

Patrick M. Quinn reviews Max Elbaum's "Revolution in the Air"

http://www.solidarity-us.org

Max Elbaum's Revolution in the Air is a damn good book, one that should be must reading for all those who consider themselves part of the left today and for future generations of socialists as well.

Elbaum has done the left a great service in crafting this incisive history and analysis of the rise and demise of the preeminent revolutionary socialist political current that emerged from the radicalization of the 1960s, broadly definable as Maoist, which he calls the "New Communist Movement".
